Completion of the project of hydrogen energy storage system at the Garbce Traction Substation.

We are happy to announce the completion of  the project of hydrogen energy storage system at the Garbce Traction Substation.

The work, which lasted almost 18 months, involved the construction of infrastructure for the production and storage of hydrogen, as well as its further use for electricity production. The pioneering hydrogen energy storage project, together with the existing battery energy storage and photovoltaic farm, will create a unique, green ecosystem of interconnected and complementary installations generating and supplying energy dedicated to railways. As a result, a modern and versatile traction substation will power the railway network, which will not only ensure reliability and stability, but also contribute to environmental protection by producing an ecological energy source.
