The halfway stage of works at JSW KOKS S.A. is behind us.

We are pleased to announce that we have completed the next stage of works resulting from the contract signed in 2020 for the implementation of the flue gas denitrification system – power unit 71MW at JSW KOKS SA, Oddział Przyjaźń in Dąbrowa Górnicza.

On October 25, 2021, SBB ENERGY SA, as the general contractor, started the installation of the 35-tonne reactor on a special 16-meter structure. The reactor with dimensions of 12x8x6m was placed using a specialized lifting capacity. Before the start-up of the installation, 16 catalytic modules with a total weight of 23 tons, an inlet channel with a system of burners heating the exhaust gases, and a reagent injection system will be installed in the reactor.

The comprehensive scope of works will allow the modernized boiler to meet the requirements of BAT LCP conclusions by achieving the limit value of nitrogen oxides emission below the level of 100 mg / Nm3.
