Signing a contract with Promet-Plast s.c. – Construction of a high-efficiency trigeneration unit with a total nominal electric power up to 1.0 MW.

We are pleased to announce that on May 10th 2021 SBB ENERGY S.A. signed a contract with Promet-Plast s.c. Elżbieta and Andrzej Jeżewscy for the execution of the investment in the formula of general contracting: “Construction of a high-efficiency trigeneration unit with a total nominal electric power up to 1.0 MW”.

SBB ENERGY SA as a general contractor will design, deliver, assemble and commission the electrolyser system powered by electricity from renewable energy sources with a hydrogen storage facility and accompanying infrastructure. The “green” hydrogen produced in the electrolysis process will be the fuel for the trigeneration system (electricity, heat and cold generation) for the Promet-Plast s.c. production plant.

This innovative project matches the EU’s plans to achieve the climate neutrality by the year 2050 and the transformation of the energy economy to zero emissions.

The project is scheduled for completion in the first quarter of 2022.
