Hybrid flue gas denitrification technology for power boilers
Project description
The project’s objective is to develop an innovative technology to reduce NOx emissions to a level of 150 mg/Nm³, utilizing a catalytic method for nitrogen oxide reduction in flue gases from power boilers.
This novel system will employ catalytic reduction of nitrogen oxides by incorporating catalytic cartridges within a regenerative rotary air preheater (RAPH). The research will include an analytical approach to address this challenge, along with testing of prototype components for the system.
The hybrid nitrogen oxide reduction technology aims to achieve emissions below 150 mg/Nm³. Additionally, universal engineering tools will be developed to facilitate the adaptation of this hybrid technology to the specific site conditions of each retrofit installation.
