PGE Energia Ciepła S.A and SBB ENERGY S.A. signed a contract for the construction of a gas boiler house in Kielce.

We are pleased to announce that on 24.08.2021 SBB ENERGY SA signed a contract with PGE Energia Ciepła S.A. for the execution of the investment in the EPC formula entitled: “Construction of a gas boiler house with a capacity of 5×32 MWt at PGE EC S.A. CHP in Kielce “

Under the provisions of the contract SBB ENERGY S.A. will design, deliver, build and commission the boiler house based on 5 (five) fire-tube water boilers with a capacity of approximately 32 MWt each. The task of the boilers will be to produce hot water for the heat production for the city of Kielce.

The contract signed with PGE Energia Ciepła for the construction of a gas boiler house with a capacity of 5×32 MWt at PGE EC S.A. CHP branch in Kielce fits directly into the company’s business profile. SBB ENERGY, acting as the general contractor, will be responsible for creating new heat sources for Kielce, supporting thereby the transformation trend of the energy economy in Poland, – said Ziemowit Słomczyński, President of the Board of SBB ENERGY.

The project is scheduled for completion by the end of 2022.
