On 26 February 2026, SBB ENERGY S.A., CHESSolutions S.A., Victor Energy Sp. z o.o., and DEVPOL Sp. z o.o. joined forces to create a flexible Polish cooperation platform dedicated to delivering complex projects in the power and district heating sectors. The CHESS Technology Consortium operates under a design–build model, integrating advanced technologies, engineering capabilities, and the execution experience of its Partners. This synergy enables efficient project delivery across the entire investment lifecycle from concept development to commissioning.

The energy market today demands partners who take full responsibility for the investment process, from project organization to handing over operational installations. The Consortium addresses this need by offering a unified cooperation model and the technologies required to achieve project goals. For SBB ENERGY S.A., this is a natural step, building on years of experience in executing complex energy and industrial projects. “Together with our Partners, we are creating a Polish platform that combines modern technologies with reliable execution, meeting the real needs of the energy transition and the development of district heating in Poland,” says Ziemowit Słomczyński, President of the Management Board of SBB ENERGY S.A.

SBB ENERGY S.A. brings proven experience in EPC projects in the energy and industrial sectors, covering comprehensive, multi-disciplinary work, including supply, commissioning, and optimization of installations.

By combining the competencies of its Partners, the Consortium creates a strong, local platform capable of delivering large-scale power and district heating projects across the full investment spectrum. In the context of the ongoing energy transition and the current geopolitical situation, the CHESS Technology Consortium strengthens domestic technological capabilities and contributes to building a resilient, modern, and independent energy sector based on local solutions and innovations.
