We are pleased to inform that SBB ENERGY SA has completed the Project called "Installation for flue gas denitrification at CEZ Skawina".
The project involved the construction of two independent installations for catalytic denitrification of flue gases in the Tail End configuration together with a node for unloading and storing the reagent. The installations are designed to ensure reduction of NOx emissions in flue gas to the level below 150mg / Nm³ for the needs of one OP-230 boiler and four OP-210M boilers.
In addition, the installation has been equipped with a unique system of flue gas steam heating and heat recovery from processed flue gas and later use of it to heat the water.
The project was implemented based on our own know how in the turnkey basis, which means that the scope of work included the implementation of complete design documentation, assembly works, commissioning and optimization.

We are pleased to inform you that SBB ENERGY S.A. completed project "Reconstruction of a boiler 4 for gaseous fuel Synthos Dwory 7 Limited Liability Company SJ".
The contract was implemented in a turnkey system (design, construction and commissioning).
The project steam boiler with severe refractory Pauker type-2 of 130 t / h, built in 1954, basically burning coal and gas mine was converted into a gas-fired boiler only. The gaseous fuel system enables the combustion of two types of gas: natural gas, including basic regasified LNG gas, and mine gas.
After reconstruction, the main parameters of the K4 boiler are:
Capacity 100 t / h, steam temperature 480 ° C, pressure 7,8 MPa.
Emissions: NOx3, CO3, dust3.
In order to accomplish the task they were partially disassembled delivery systems coal and ash discharge.
The following devices and installations have been installed in and around the boiler:
• 2 gas burners for simultaneous combustion of natural and mine gas
• 2 combustion air fans with air regulation systems
• 2 mine gas boosting systems with rotary blowers and a gas cooler
• Natural and mine gas installations inside the boiler room,
• New exhaust emission measurement system
• Electrical systems to power new devices
• Object measuring systems and control cabinets
During the reconstruction, the pressure part of the boiler and the flue gas evacuation system were maintained with minor changes.
Regulation of boiler operation after reconstruction was implemented in the existing DCS system.

We have started the next stage of the project resulting from the contract signed in 2018 for the supply and installation of a catalytic flue gas denitrification installation for OP-650 boilers of blocks 5, 6, 7, 8 at Dolna Odra Power Plant.
The project is aimed at adapting units No. 5-8 at Dolna Odra Power Plant to the requirements of the BAT conclusions regarding NOx reduction.
The installation works on site have been carried out continuously since May 2019. A significant part of the works related to SCR installations is led during the operation of boilers, i.e. before the actual modernization stop. The selected assembly technology enabling work under active power lines with working boilers allows to complete many works before proper shutdown of a given boiler. This makes a timely execution of all works during the shutdown of individual boilers possible (it is limited to 120 days for a particular boiler).
Within a year from the commencement of works (May 2019 - May 2020) a complete installation for unloading and storage of ammonia water (common part of the entire project), complete SCR installation for the K6 boiler, almost the entire structure (supporting and secondary) of the boiler reactors K5, K7, K8, complete K7 reactor and almost half of the K5 reactor have been built.
At present, the SCR installation of the K6 boiler is being commissioned awaiting for the boiler to be ready for firing up, and the modernization shutdown of the K7 boiler has begun (02/05/2020) and will be completed on 30/08/2020.
All assembly, installation and commissioning works of the Project (except for construction works) are carried out by SBB ENERGY SA by means of its own personnel as well as subcontractors.
